The result is this Compact input field that keeps things simple on the surface but packs all the essential AI interaction features underneath.

The field expands smoothly on focus, making room for various AI Commands, or media inputs while keeping the default state minimal. We made sure touch targets stay generous despite the compact size - no more frustrating taps on tiny buttons. It works particularly well in mobile interfaces and sidebar widgets where space is at a premium but you still need full AI interaction capabilities.
